Mental Health Awareness & Building Resilience

Paula Puddy, HBA LLB MBA

The County of Carleton Law Association hosts this featured CPD video, in which Dr. Susan Farrel presents answers on what COVID-19 has done to people’s mental health. This webinar discussing mental health awareness and building resilience at the CCLA Civil Litigation Conference covers topics such as becoming resilient to stress, how we experience anxiety and depression, how mental health can cause physical problems, and affect work performance.

Dr. Susan Farrel explains how awareness of mental health is not present in certain workplace cultures. Because of this fact, professionals need to understand how to manage mental health issues, and practice habits that cultivate healthy coping strategies.
