For Evidence’s Sake: Getting the Right Evidence Admitted

Paula Puddy, HBA LLB MBA

County of Carleton Law Association (CCLA) hosts this week’s educational seminar for litigators on getting the right evidence admitted at trial.

Seasoned litigator, Raymond Murray, covers a variety of topics including the relevance of pre-accident records, the scope of expert witness testimony, proving commercial host liability, evidence on summary judgment motions, counsel affidavits, proving municipality notice requirements and more.

Given the high stakes at trial, all litigators should refresh their knowledge of admitting evidence, preparing for objections, and meeting the evidentiary burden before trial.
