Ethics & civility in personal injury!

Paula Puddy, HBA LLB MBA

Are you up-to-date on your ethical and professional obligations in personal injury cases? This video from the CCLA features a panel comprised of plaintiff counsel, defence counsel and a member of the bench provides guidance and direction (1) treating self-represented parties fairly, (2) defence counsel’s access to the plaintiff’s health care providers, and (3) a plaintiff’s obligation to answer reasonable questions at a defence medical.

The second half of the video addresses motions under Rule 7 including tips on the content of your notice of motion, affidavits, and draft order with reference to recent case law.
