Kirsten Crain is a partner in BLG’s Ottawa office. Kirsten’s broad litigation practice includes commercial litigation, intellectual property litigation, administrative law proceedings and health sector cases. Kirsten has conducted trials and appeals in both Federal Court and the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, and has appeared before a range of federal and provincial tribunals including the Patented Medicine Prices Review Board, the Canadian Human Rights Tribunal, the National Energy Board, and the Health Professions Appeal and Review Board. Kirsten is a regular presenter at The Advocates’ Society and The Law Society of Ontario conferences. She is also an occasional lecturer at the University of Ottawa.
Andrew Lenz graduated from the faculty of law of the University of Western Ontario. He articled at the Supreme Court of Canada and was called to the Bar in 1993. He practices at Perley-Robertson, Hill & McDougall – mainly in the areas of Commercial and Public Litigation and has been a partner since 2000. He previously served on the organizing committee of this Conference.
Fiona is Manager, Legal Claims, and Senior Counsel with Intact Insurance. Her practice has been focused on all aspects of insurance defence litigation since her call to the bar in 1994. Outside the office, Fiona is the proud mother of three sporty boys, Ottawa Valley cottager and avid reader.
