Contested Committeeships: How Does the Court Determine What (or Who) is in the Patient’s “Best Interests”?

Emily Clough is a Partner at Alexander Holburn Beaudin + Lang LLP. She leads the firm’s Wills, Estates + Trusts Litigation Practice. Emily represents clients in all levels of court in Canada on estate, trust, incapacity and commercial litigation matters. She also advises clients regarding incapacity and estate planning matters pertaining to wills, power of attorney instruments, representation agreements, nominations of committee, advance directives and trusts.
