Elizabeth A. Swarbrick is a lawyer, admitted to the practice of law in Ontario in 1995 and Nova Scotia in 1993.
Elizabeth restricted the majority of her law practice to family law in 1997. She confines her professional practice to collaborative family law, negotiated family resolutions, family mediation and limited litigation. She also practices in the area of Wills and Estates. Elizabeth began her journey with collaborative law in 2001 as a founding member of the Collaborative Law Network of Ottawa. She is a past-board member of the Ontario Collaborative Law Federation.
Elizabeth is a member of the American Bar Association, Family Law Branch. She remains a member of Collaborative Practice Ottawa.
Elizabeth is a trainer in collaborative law, who has completed the trainer programs offered by the Ontario Collaborative Law Federation in collaborative practice in both basic (Level 1) and skills training (Level 2). Her training has taken her all over Ontario doing trainings in Timmins, Oshawa, Ottawa, Perth, Sault Ste Marie, and Thunder Bay.
Elizabeth resides with her family in Almonte, Ontario.
