This session demonstrates how artificial intelligence tools are being applied in wills and estates practice to improve accuracy and efficiency while meeting professional obligations. The presenters explain how research, drafting, and practice-management platforms such as Perplexity, Alexi, and Leap can assist with legal research, meeting summaries, and client communication, provided confidentiality and supervision rules are respected. They also show how modern estate-planning software can securely organize client data, visualize family and asset structures, and generate wills and powers of attorney with built-in checks for consistency and compliance. Overall, the presentation highlights practical, responsible ways lawyers can integrate AI into their workflow without compromising professional standards.
