Lou-Anne Farrell

Lou-Anne Farrell was called to the Ontario Bar in 1988 after graduating from the University of Western Ontario law school with distinction. She joined Harrison Pensa in April of 2022 after practicing for over 30 years at various firms in London Ontario. Ms. Farrell practices in the area of estate litigation, including will challenges, spousal and dependent’s claims, removal of executors and contested estate audits, as well as Capacity litigation, including the appointment of guardians, and Breach of Trust claims. She also acts as a mediator in estate-related disputes. She has been recognized as a leader in her field by Lexpert and Best Lawyers. Ms. Farrell is a former Chair of the Trusts and Estates Section of the Ontario Bar Association and has written and spoken frequently on issues related to Estate Litigation. She is a former Alternate Chair of the Ontario Review Board, the tribunal which conducts annual reviews of persons found not criminally responsible for criminal offences by reason of a mental disorder. She has also been on the boards of several community organizations in London. She is a Past President of the Board of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southwestern Ontario and an Honorary Director of the Children’s Health Foundation.

Kerry Rizzo

Kerry Rizzo is a Chartered Investment Manager® and a Certified Financial Planner® professional as accredited by FP Canada who worked for a large bank owned firm and has since started her own firm BlueRidge Private Wealth under the Harbourfront Wealth banner. Kerry has adopted an innovative investment philosophy during her 24 years as an Investment Advisor. She believes in “disinheriting the CRA” for tax minimization strategies, using de-accumulation plans for retirement cash flow and wealth accumulation plans so you can work because you want to and not because you have to. A financial planner at heart, Kerry loves to rework numbers and find the best plan tailored specifically to each client. Speaking topics are varied but she has received recognition for her work with Women and Wealth, Portfolio Longevity, Registered Disability Plans and Henson Trusts in her financial advisory role. This year, Kerry was voted by her clients Top 25 Advisor in Eastern Canada for her services. She has also been voted Wealth Professional Canada Advisor of the Year Excellence Awardee for Alternative Investments and Advisor of the Year for Responsible Investments by her peers.
