Rachael Belford

Rachael Belford joined the Real Estate Law Group at Perley-Robertson, Hill & McDougall in 2018 after completing her summer and articling programs with the firm. Rachael completed her JD at Queen’s University in 2017 during which she worked with both the Queen’s Family Law Clinic and the Queen’s Elder Law Clinic to provide legal services to clientele who would not otherwise be able to access a lawyer. Rachael was awarded the Queen’s Law Prize in Children’s Law in 2016. Rachael’s practice focuses on commercial real estate, working with buyers, sellers, lenders, landlords, tenants, and investors in various real estate transactions. Rachael has a wealth of knowledge in commercial leasing and is able to provide a full range of commercial leasing services, including preparing and negotiating offers, leases and related leasing documents, as well as advising on issues during and at the end of the term.

Jason Rabin

Jason Rabin worked as an insurance litigator at a national law firm in Ottawa before transitioning to commercial litigation as a partner at Gibsons LLP. He has worked as a part-time Law Professor teaching Civil Procedure. His present practice includes insurance, corporate governance disputes, construction, and employment law. On his off time, Jason is also an avid cook and baker and enjoys making elaborate desserts for his friends and family.

Jonathan Roch

Jonathan Roch is a partner at MBM Intellectual Property Law LLP. Heis a biochemist, lawyer, patent and trade-mark agent. Jonathan assists Canadian and foreign clients with the creation, protection, management,commercialization, licensing,and enforcement of their intellectual property rights including patents,trademarks, copyright, industrial designs, trade secrets and domain name disputes. Jonathan hasextensive experience in intellectual property due diligence and drafting and negotiating intellectual property agreements

Chris Trivisonno

Chris Trivisonno regularly represents individuals, privately owned businesses, and public companies across a variety of industries and professions. Hiswork focuses on complex commercial litigation and includes shareholder disputes, arbitration, securities litigation, restructuring and insolvency, class actions, and professional liability and regulation cases. He has significant experience representing health professionals in litigation and regulatory matters. Chris spent the first five years of his career in New York And Toronto, working in the litigation department of a major U.S. law firm and then at a top Canadian Litigation boutique firm. His experience in New York makes him particularly adept at handling cross-border matters, including enforcing foreign judgments and rogatory letters. Raised in Ottawa, Chris recentlyreturned home to the National Capital Region to be closer to family. When he is not out reacquainting himself with his hometown, Chriscan be found reading contemporary fiction, digging for records,practicing yoga, and cooking
