After a decade on Bay Street, in 2017 Megan Keenberg co-founded Van Kralingen & Keenberg LLP – a boutique commercial litigation and employment law firm. She is a Certified Specialist in Civil Litigation and practices commercial litigation. Megan holds a Master of Laws from Osgoode specializing in Dispute Resolution. She has also completed the Toronto Commercial Arbitration Society’s prestigious Gold Standard Course on commercial arbitration and has returned as Principal Faculty teaching this course. Originally a member of the inaugural NextGen Roster, Megan has recently been promoted to the Main Roster at Arbitration Place. She has been designated as a Qualified Mediator and a Qualified Arbitrator and maintains a mediation and arbitration practice focused broadly on business disputes arising from a wide variety of sectors. Megan also offers case management arbitration designed to promote procedural efficiency for cases proceeding before the courts. Megan is an active member of The Advocates’ Society, having served as a Practice Group Leader for the Arbitration and Mediation Advocacy group, and currently serving on the 10+ Standing Committee. She is also an active member of the Ontario Bar Association having served concurrent terms on the Executive Boards of the ADR Section (including as Chair 2019-2020) and the Civil Litigation Section since 2017. Megan is a frequent speaker at seminars geared towards litigators, ADR practitioners and law firm management.
Danilo Popadic completed his JD and Diplôme de Français Juridique at the University of Western Ontario in 2013 and was called to the Bar in 2014. After completing his articling with the City of London, he stayed at City Hall, practicing civil litigation, expropriation, construction litigation, and provincial offences prosecution. In June 2022, he moved to Aviva Trial Lawyers where he practices in civil litigation and insurance defence. Outside of law, Danilo keeps busy skiing, gardening, and being an enthusiastic (though not particularly gifted) tennis player.
Erika Webb is in-house counsel for Intact Insurance. She joined Intact Insurance in 2015, and over the last 8 years has been practicing in various areas of insurance defence litigation, including claims related to personal injury, property loss and subrogated claims. Outside of work, she enjoys being active with her family, cooking and gardening.
