You need to understand the current Structured Settlement processes and procedures being used by your adversary, Just as much as you understand the activities, motivation, and productions of the Doctors, the Accountants, the Future Care Cost Experts, and the Investigators that your adversary retains.

Even if YOU do not consider structure costs as a method of determining the value of each Head of Damages; the opposing experts are now using them. They get a Structured Settlement quote and an Actuarial Calculation on each Head of Damages. During negotiations they then cite the calculation on each Head that is more in their favour. They will never go beyond their number toward your number; unless you can prove to them that their number is wrong.    (their number is frequently wrong)

You are responsible for knowing the content, and context of what both their Structure Expert, and your Structure Expert are telling you.
