Intestacy and the Young Family

In the normal course, intestacy engages provincial estate division rules, and in so doing, presents challenges for survivors. For instances in which a person dies intestate and leaves behind a young family, those challenges can easily become compounded as the addressing of present and future needs comes to the forefront. This program is set to address the possible challenges and necessary considerations of counsel dealing with estate law, and with clients facing a future without a loved one and without the certainty of a valid will.
